She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Erps and Evelyn Erps (Timm); her siblings, Darold Busch, Eunice Weaver and Sherrie Manley; and her parents-in-law, James and Esther Dixon.

She is survived by: her husband Gerald "Jake" West; her children, Tracy Storjohann (Darin) of Maysville and Jimmy West (Kristin) of Davenport; her grandchildren, Ali Cronkleton (Matt), Jake Storjohann (Emily), Roni Trizzino (Joey), Cody Storjohann (Maddi), Jack West and Brady West; her great grandchildren, Hank Cronkleton, Hazel Cronkleton, Morgan Storjohann, Ruby Cronkleton, Toni Trizzino and Elsie Storjohann; and her siblings, Darlene Grosvenor, Penny Erps, Bob Erps and Kim Busch.

Memorials may be made to Stead Family Children's Hospital in Iowa City.
