He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Tharp and Patse Tharp (Conklin); and his daughter Tamara Sweeney Bohland. He is survived by: his wife Jackie of Blue Grass, IA.; his sons, Jeffrey Jr. Tharp (Megan) of Davenport and Jason Sweeney of Grimes, IA; and his sister Vicki Tharp-Petersen (Dennis) of Davenport. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
