James Lee Bendt Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Lee Bendt of Blue Grass, Iowa, born in Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on July 26, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bendt and Anna Bendt (Dittrich); and his brother George Bendt, Jr.. He is survived by: his close friend Lynn Stanger; his wife Lynn; his daughter Heidi Surratt (Luke); his grandchildren, Cooper and Mia of Poplar Grove, IL; and his siblings, Joan Hart (George "Chico") and William Bendt (Rhonda) of Spring Hill, FL.

Memorials may be made to the family to be given to the Healthwell Foundation for Pulmonary Fibrosis research, or to New Era Church.
