He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Eugene and Eunice Veatch (Lunsford) of Savannah, Iowa.; his son Keith; and his son-in-law John Christie. He is survived by: his daughters, Pam Kendrick of Springfield, Brenda Bogle (Ronnie) of Garner, Mary Christie of Bloomfield and Renita Murrell (Raymond) of Bloomfield; his sister Joyce Elliott; and his nephews, Rick Veatch, Mike Veatch and Randy Veatch. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Good Samaritan Hospice of Wapello County or Good Samaritan Nursing Home of Ottumwa.
