He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Vern and Aleen LaVonne Cook Lister; and his sister Betty (Jerry Hughes). He is survived by: his wife Mary Lister; his children, Michelle Sehmann (Craig), Brian Lister (Amy) of Peoria, Nicole Stevens (Fred) of Blue Springs, Clayton Lister (Brooke) of Peoria and Clinton Lister of Glasgow, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Grant, Blake Sehmann, Ian, Emma Lister, Azlynn, Bo Stevens and Harrison Lister; and his sister Diana Andrade (Jaime) of Evergreen, Colorado. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wagler Funeral Home (304 W Jefferson St, Bloomfield, IA 52537). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
A memorial has been established to the I-MO Christian Service Camp.
