She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Morong and Anna Morong (Nutz); and her siblings, Mary Jane Breiner, Ruth Kingsley Furry, Shirley Ann Morong, Helen Marburger, Abby Behnke, Donald "Mike" Morong, Joseph H. Morong, Annette Holcomb and Clara Fuhrman.
She is survived by: her husband Leroy "Swede" Pulver of Bloomfield; her children, John Pulver (Emma) of Cedar Rapids, Tina Richmond (Dale) of Swisher and Barb VanGorder of Des Moines; her grandchildren, Cory Richmond (Jennifer), Casey Richmond (Hannah), Cole Richmond, Tyler VanGorder and Ashlie VanGorder; her great grandchildren, Dempsey, Evra, Rooney and Taggert; her close friend Joanie Ward; and her pet Rascal.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family to be donated, per Rita's wishes.
