We bid farewell to Richard Carlson (Bloomfield, Iowa), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 15, 2024 at the age of 82. Richard touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Iver Henry and Evelyn Barker Carlson; his granddaughters, Kayla and Kassie Hale; and his son-in-law Rick Hale.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Duffield; his children, Rick Carlson (Pam Deutsch) of Fairfield, Iowa and Julie Burrows (Brian) of Bloomfield; his grandson Levi J. Carlson of Albia, Iowa; and his siblings, Gary Carlson of Bloomfield and Sharon Padget (Jerry) of Bloomfield.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wagler Funeral Home (304 W Jefferson St, Bloomfield, IA 52537).
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to the Disabled Veterans of America and Tunnels to Towers and may be left at the funeral home during visitation or mailed to: Richard Carlson Memorial, 304 W. Jefferson St., Bloomfield, Iowa 52537.
