It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rex Simmons (Bloomfield, Iowa), who passed away on November 22, 2018, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Edward and Ohio Belle Wheeler Simmons; his brothers, Ralph and Max; his son Brian; his granddaughter Jessica Eakins; and his great grandchild Reece Boone.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine of Bloomfield; his children, Rodger Simmons (Carol) of Bloomfield, Lana Boone (Larry) of Lake City and Rhonda Eakins (Clayton) of Bloomfield; and his daughter-in-law Marsha Willhoit (Terry) of Batavia. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 4 great- great grandchildren.
