She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Boom and Ruby Boom; her husband Ronald Dean Gordy; and her siblings, Tom, Bud Walker and Elaine Butler.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Gordy of Bloomfield, Curt Gordy of Harrison, Steve Gordy (Tammy) of Ottumwa, Dave Gordy of Bloomfield and Linda Rodibaugh (Brandon) of Libertyville, Iowa; and her brother Dennis Boom (Linda). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
