Orville W. Rupe Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Orville W. Rupe (Bloomfield, Iowa), who passed away on March 23, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Rupe and Anna Nalley Rupe; his granddaughter Vallerie Roberts; his stepdaughters, Jane Ann Walker and Vicki Vee Johnson; and his siblings, Burrell, Jerry, Eugene, Grant, Gerald, Ronald Rupe, Lucille Padget, Rose Wintermote, Wanda Rupe, Anna Leasher and Marjorie Skinner.
He is survived by: his wife Florence Prevo; his daughters, Kim Rupe of Bloomfield and Pam Townsend of Bloomfield; his stepsons, Tommy Johnson (Sarah) of Mooresville and Doy Johnson (Mary) of Floris, Iowa; and his close friend Stan Huggins (Deb) of Bloomfield. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Bloomfield and the Heartland Humane Society in Ottumwa.
