He was predeceased by: his parents, Mearl Mason Moore Sr. and Madeline Sterner; his daughter Deborah Jackson; his son-in-law Luther Cline; and his siblings, Harold Moore and Awilda O'Brien.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Moore; his daughter Kathleen Cloyd of Urbandale, Iowa; his grandchildren, Jill Wilkins (Derek) and Sean Cloyd; his great grandchildren, Alexis and Brayden Wilkins; his brothers, Richard Moore and Dennis Moore; and his son-in-law Tim Jackson. He is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established to the Alzheimer's Association.
