She was predeceased by: her parents, Orval Glen and Theresa Agnes Pilcher Grinstead; her husband Donald Ernest Hawkins; her daughter Sharon Reese; and her granddaughter Tasha Hawkins.
She is survived by: her son Larry Hawkins (Donna) of Drakesville, Iowa; her son-in-law Junior Reese (Sandy Foster) of Bloomfield; her grandchildren, Stacy Reese (Melanie) of Coralville, Kristi Woolard (Brad) of Bloomfield, Tara Townsend (Josh) of Bloomfield, Chris Hawkins (Jenn) of Bloomfield, Nathan Woolard, Anna Reese, Kolby Reese, Jaycee Townsend (Trevor Coffman), Dawson Townsend, Keeley Brewington and Kyle Brewington; and her sisters, Norma Wright of Florida and Geraldine Smith (Darrell) of Ottumwa, Iowa.. She is also survived by her family and friends.
