We are sad to announce that on November 4, 2021, at the age of 98, Lorraine Simmons (Bloomfield, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlo Shook and Ora Gordy Shook; her husband J. Rex Simmons; her son Brian; her sisters, Coleen Vorhis and Crystal Webb; her son-in-law Larry Boone; her granddaughter Jessica Eakins; and her great grandchild Reece Boone.

She is survived by: her children, Rodger Simmons (Carol) of Bloomfield, Lana Boone (Larry) of Lake City, Florida and Rhonda Eakins (Clayton) of Bloomfield; her daughter-in-law Marsha Wilhoit (Terry) of Batavia; and her siblings, Rowena Fletcher, Molly Williams and Martin Shook. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
