She was predeceased by: her father James T. Padget. She is survived by: her mother Mary Ilene McMains Padget of Bloomfield; her husband Larry Sample; her children, Justin Sample (Jodie) of Huxley, Iowa and Sonia McNurlen of Sigourney, Iowa; her grandchildren, Preston, Madi McNurlen, Emma and Taylor Sample; and her brother Kenny Padget (Sherry) of Bloomfield. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Wagler Funeral Home (304 W Jefferson St, Bloomfield, IA 52537). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.

Memorials have been established to the Alzheimer's Association and Hospice of Wapello and Davis Counties.
