He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Curtis, Sr. and Martha Louise Matheny; his wife Bonnie R. Matheny; his children, Kimberly Marking of Memphis, Kelly Carmichael (James) of Memphis, Konya Shreve (Rob) of Counce, TN and Kenneth Matheny of Floris, IA; and his sister Robbie Jones of Walls, MS.
