We are sad to announce that on March 17, 2025, at the age of 59, Ivan Goering of Bloomfield, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Ivan has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan L. Goering and Louise Marie New Goering; and his pet Duke. He is survived by: his wife Robin Goering; his children, Davan Goering of Bloomfield and Whitney Elliott of Bloomfield; and his siblings, Russell Goering (Kimberly) of Ottumwa, David Goering (Diane) of Chariton and Susan Harris (Jimmy) of Des Moines, Iowa. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wagler Funeral Home (304 W Jefferson St, Bloomfield, IA 52537). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to his family.
