She was predeceased by: her father Dwight Coop; her husband Jay Werts; her grandson Jordan Hunerdosse; and her brother-in-law Ben Howk. She is survived by: her mother Pauline Townsend Coop of Bloomfield; her children, Amanda Hunerdosse (Shawn) of Bondurant, Iowa and Kelley Werts (Beth) of Russell, Iowa; her grandson Ethan Werts of Russell, Iowa; her siblings, Pat Howk of Bloomfield, Linda Forsythe (Nolen) of Oskaloosa, Iowa and Doyle Coop (Marie) of Waxhaw; and her aunts, Freda Huff of Bloomfield and Charlene Stevens of Pella, Iowa. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial has been established to her family to be designated at a later date.
