He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Scott and Merle Arthur Scott; and his siblings, Glen, Reverend Gerald Scott, Elsie Rich, Eleanor Hagen and Ellen Kirker.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Phillips Scott; his children, Sharon Rodriguez (Jose) of Grand Junction, Colorado, Walter Scott (Joan) of Drakesville, Iowa and Robert Scott of Drakesville, Iowa; and his sister Evelyn Sandegren (Paul). He is also survived by six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
