She was loved and cherished by many people including: her adoptive father Elmer Boom; her children, Jeffrey Cooke (Juanita Marquez) of Oskaloosa, Iowa and Suzanne Cheever (Todd) of Bloomfield; her grandchildren, Chanelle Thompson of Allerton and Trisha Thompson of Radcliffe, Iowa; her great grandchildren, Breanna Long, Alieah Oelschlager, Kallie Oelschlager and Sofia Thompson; and her siblings, Anne Gordy of Bloomfield and Dennis Boom (Linda) of Shingle Springs.
