Friend of Bloomfield, Iowa, born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on January 17, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert R. Grace and Irene Grace (Fogarty); her husband Rocky Friend; her siblings, Herbert Grace and Margaret Westrope; and her stepson Randy Friend.
She is survived by: her former husband John Aspen; her son Roger Aspen (Judy); her grandson Blake Aspen; her sister Helen Thomas (Larry); her sister-in-law Ione Friend; and her stepchildren, Nancy Goin, Phyllis Masopust, Deborah Schultz and Gary Friend. She is also survived by Many step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hastings Evangelical Free Church or Hastings YMCA.
