Darrell Dowe Scott Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 3, 2020, at the age of 86, Darrell Dowe Scott (Bloomfield, Iowa) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Darrell Dowe Scott to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Osa Dowe and Vera Margaret Whisler Scott; his wife Evelyn Ritz; his son-in-law Evan Johnston; and his siblings, Patty Robertson, Marilyn Brookhart, Vera Lynn Scott, Devere, Lowell and Osa "Buster" Scott.

He is survived by: his children, Randy Scott (Lori) of Albia, Ron Scott of Drakesville, Iowa, Pam Martin (Donnie) of Bloomfield, Rita Johnston of Osage, Rhonda Scott (Rosio) of East Moline, Shelly Stansberry (Jon) of Moulton and Rena Grim (Mark) of Bloomfield; and his siblings, Marieta Eakins, Carolyn Bankson, Freda Purdum and Danny Scott. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private family funeral will be held with Pastor Matt Froah officiating.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the Taylor Cemetery.
