Cherri Casteel Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cherri Casteel of Bloomfield, Iowa, born in Ottumwa, Iowa, who passed away on August 20, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Caryle and Marlene Lambirth Werts; her stepmother Loraine Werts; and her brother Jay Werts. She is survived by: her husband Clinton Casteel; her children, Marc Casteel (Jana) of Ankeny, Iowa, Jill Green of North Bend and Wende Howk (Jeremy) of Bloomfield; her grandchildren, Austin Green, Colten Green, Kerbe Howk Kanselaar (Dalton) and Kale Casteel; her siblings, Jeanne Dixon (Jack) of Bloomfield and Earl Werts of Bloomfield; and her sister-in-law Ilene Werts of Bloomfield. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the Davis County Historical Society.
