He is survived by: his former wives, Phyllis Leonard and Barbara Strait; his wife Barbara Pitman; his children, Charles E. Pitman of Cabot, Arkansas and Deanna Pitman of Biloxi, Mississippi; and his stepchildren, Michael Strait (Judy) of Mt. Pleasant, Curtis Strait (Nikki) of Prior Lake, Minnesota and Teresa Roberts of Ottumwa, Iowa. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, and step great-grand-children.
