He was predeceased by: his mother Melissa Ebelsheiser McKay of Bloomfield. He is survived by: his father Trent McKay of Bloomfield; his sister Jemah McKay; his grandparents, Mark, Mandy Ebelsheiser of Ottumwa, Vicki, Shawn Eaton of Floris, Walter McKay Sr. of What Cheer, Bob and Cyndy Overstreet of Bloomfield; and his aunts and uncles, Mallory Brisendine (Ryan) of Ottumwa, Toshya Stout of Oskaloosa, Tiffany Williams (Daryn) of Newton, Erin Novak (Chad) of Edmond, Oklahoma, Walter McKay Jr. (Tiffney) of What Cheer, Chad Austin (Misti) of San Diego and Trevor Eaton of Floris, Iowa.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for his sister Jemah's college education and to the Davis County "A" Club with money to be used for the Davis County High School Track Program.
