She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Fitzgerald and Ivah Burkhalter Fitzgerald; her husband Donald Huggins; her grandson Chuck Wilcox; and her siblings, Donald Fitzgerald, Deanna Kimberlin and Delores Dixon.
She is survived by: her children, Carla Collett of Eldon, Iowa, Bruce Huggins (LeAnn) of Troy and Craig Huggins (Heather) of Bloomfield; her grandchildren, Bradley, Madeline, Guy, Shawna and Sam; and her siblings, Dean Fitzgerald of Hopkinsville, Kentucky and Doris Campbell of Des Moines, Iowa.. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
