With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wayne Keith Johnson of Blairstown, Iowa, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on June 19, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Bradley Johnson; his father Kenneth Johnson; his grandparents, Elias, Gertrude Risdal Johnson, Henry and Martha Rieck Schultz; and his mother Florence Schultz Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Scheetz; his children, Bryan Johnson (Annette) of Blairstown, Lori Blaha (Marlon) of Solon and Niki Frese (Nate) of Norway; his brother Don Johnson of Blairstown; and his nephews, Tim Johnson (Carrie) and Chad Johnson (Jessica). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
Instead of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Tunnel to Tower Foundation or the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
