He was predeceased by: his mother Nora Hagen; his sons, David and Jeff; his siblings, Earl Hagen, Merlin (Selma Hagen), Harlan (Marlene Hagen), Norma (Elmer Von Ashsen) and Ilene (Chris Henichen); and his siblings-in-law, Caryl Hagen and Francis Stursa.
He is survived by: his son Larry (Theresa) of Blairstown; his wife Betty Stursa; his daughter Sue Junge (Chuck) of Grinnell; and his brothers, Robert Hagen and Willard Hagen (Sharon). He is also survived by several great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter.
