She was predeceased by: her parents, Josephine Grunewald (Scalissi) and Henry J. Grunewald; and her sister Trudy. She is survived by: her husband Don Kimm; her children, Cyrena Melich, Jennifer Whelchel, Lisa Peterson (Craig) and Andrew Whelchel (Natalie); and her grandchildren, Nick, Sadie Peterson, Vivienne Krebs, Kyle Bos, Aurora and George Whelchel.
