He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Cronbaugh and Laura Cronbaugh (Radeke); and his sister Marlys Eirp. He is survived by: his wife Vivian Lohrer; his children, Wendy Sontag (Jeff) of Ankeny, Jeff Cronbaugh (Cory) of Blairstown and Jill Swanson (Tom) of Mapleton; his grandchildren, Sarah Sontag-Llaguri (Tedi) of Des Moines, Suzanne Sontag of Vienna, Austria, Bryce Cronbaugh (Kayla Thordeson) of Blairstown, Michael Swanson (Jennalie Mounivong) of Urbandale and Maria Swanson of Vermillion; and his sister RaeJean Fee (Don) of Cedar Rapids.
In lieu of flowers multiple memorial funds have been established and will be distributed.
