She was predeceased by: her siblings, Bryan DeWitt and Yvonne Metcalf. She is survived by: her parents, Charles DeWitt of Wever and Melva DeWitt of Wever; her sons, Ryan Wilson of Fort Madison, Michael Wilson of Blanchard and Tylar DeWitt of Des Moines; her stepchildren, Adam Ebert of Libertyville and Rebecca Ebert (David Talbert) of Wichita; her siblings, Dean DeWitt (Jody) of Fort Madison, Alan DeWitt of Fort Madison, Craig DeWitt of Wever, Lynette Stein of Williamsburg and Diana Vorwaldt (Howard) of Wever; and her grandchildren, Addelyn, Jaxon, Kynsley, Austin, Rhiannon, Teya and Mariska. She is also survived by one aunt, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for the Fort Madison Alano Corporation, contributions may be made at her celebration event or at the Barr Memorial Chapel.
