Ruth Lyon Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 20, 2019, at the age of 93, Ruth Lyon (Birmingham, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Steele and Lydia Steele (Zeigler); her husband Raymond Lyon; her son James Metcalf; and her siblings, Venus Luzzader, John, Robert and Dale Steele.
She is survived by: her former husband Walter Metcalf; and her children, Mary Lisk (Vern) of Keokuk, Robert Lyon of Fairfield, Vickie Glover (Gary) of Keosauqua, Louise Stammerman of Waukee and David Lyon (Diane) of Birmingham. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren and numerous step grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Birmingham Homecoming log cabin restoration.
