He was predeceased by: his parents, Belva Oletha Franklin (Conkle) and Bert A. Franklin; and his daughter Julie Pedrick (Brian). He is survived by: his former spouse Fae Long; and his children, Connie Johnson (Keith), Bruce Franklin (Lolena), Gene Franklin (Deb), Greg Franklin and Curt Franklin (Rebecca).
