She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Clark and Lena Carter Clark; her husband George Nelson; her son David Nelson; her grandson Timothy Nelson; her great grandchild Milo Nelson; her sisters, Shirley and Betty Wallace; and her siblings-in-law, John Wallace, Vern Tedrow, Don Wallace, Merlin Foreman, Jim Johnson and Nielsine Johnson.

She is survived by: her children, Danny Nelson (Sharon) of Lockridge, IA, Patricia Carder (Wayne) of Ottumwa, IA, Debbie Dorothy (Wendell) of Birmingham, IA and Frank Nelson (Lori) of Stockport, IA; and her siblings, Harry Clark (Marie) of Fairfield, IA and Maxine Tedrow of Fairfield, IA. She is also survived by her family and her many friends.
