It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William G. Donnelly Jr. of Bettendorf, Iowa, born in Lake Forest, Illinois, who passed away on March 23, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Donnelly, (Hilbrant) and William G. Donnelly, Sr.; his sons, William G. Donnelly III and John Joseph; and his siblings, Mary Fleckenstein and James Donnelly.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Kloppenborg; his children, Michael (Lori) and Mary (Glen); his grandchildren, Nathan Martin (Mattia), Amanda Hintze, Lisa Willis (Ryan), Matthew Donnelly (Bonnie), Amy Derochie (Kevin), Joseph Donnelly (Taylora) and Andrew Donnelly; his great grandchildren, Valery, Ella Martin, Luke, Levi, Ava Willis, Jack, Miles Donnelly, Finnly, Ian and Quintin Derochie; and his siblings-in-law, Orville Fleckenstein and Julie Donnelly.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Women's Choice Center or St. Labre Indian School.
