It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vicente Dayao Esquivel Jr. of Bettendorf, Iowa, born in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on June 1, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vicente The and Flordeliza Esquivel Sr. The; and his siblings, Romeo Esquivel, Danilo Esquivel and Zenaida Morales.

He is survived by: his wife Natividad "Naty" Yambao; his daughters, Vicky Reed (Barry), Moline, Tess Esquivel, Lourdes "Lu" Rosario (Romulus) and Carol Odekirk (David); his sister Cora Tan (Roger); and his grandchildren, Taylor, Isabella, Spencer, Samuel and Logan.

Memorials may go to the National Kidney Foundation.
