She was predeceased by: her grandson Kayden; her parents, Bert Ward and Hazel Ward (Shaver); and her husband Donald L. Hesse. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Sharon H. Hesse, Kevin W. Hesse and Dawn L. Kuhn (Bill); her sister Edwina Swart; her granddaughters, Nicole (Jeremy) and Jennifer; and her great grandchildren, Kiaria, Layne, Adelyn and Mason.
