He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Solie and Beulah Solie; his sister-in-law Darlene Solie; and his nephew Matt Solie. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Kathy" Schnitzer; his daughter Justine (Rob); his grandchildren, Cyrus and Sabrina; his siblings, Jim Solie and Roxanne Shaw (Bob); and his nieces and nephews, Erica Campbell (Bob), Tony Shaw (JoAnn), Brande Korfe (Chris), Erin Waters, Anne Ziola (Ryan), John Waters (Kara), Paul Golden and Stephen Golden.
