He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Orlyn, Fern Quick, Bernard and Lorraine Tappa. He is survived by: his parents, James Tappa and Cheryl Tappa (Quick); his wife Martha Garcia; his sons, Michael and AJ Tappa; and his siblings, Robert Tappa (Theresa), James Tappa Jr. and Tonya Marx (John) of Bettendorf.
