He is survived by: his mother Therese Lampe (Katie); his sisters, Connie Lampe-Voelliger, Linda Park (Steve), Carol Gehrmann (Phillip) and Julie Salkeld (John); his niece Stephanie Schinstock (Albert); his great-nieces and great-nephews, McKayla, Noah, Isaiah, Lindsay Cornick (Wade), Katie Voelliger, Dr. Cara Voelliger (Chet Vignes), Catherine Gehrmann, Dr. Elizabeth Gehrmann (Jorge Luis), Mary Therese Gehrmann (Levin Leesemann) and John Salkeld III; and his close friends, Tony VanHorn, Pat Angerer, Steve Park and Phillip Gehrmann.
