She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Skipton and Camilla Skipton; her husband Carl "Pete" L. Peterson; her siblings, Frank, Phillip and Jo Ann; her grandson Mark; and her daughters-in-law, Susan and Phyllis.
She is survived by: her sister Mary Lou of Arkadelphia, Arkansas; and her children, Mike of Ankeny, Karen Romans (Bill) of Le Claire, Tom (Pam) of Clear Lake and Jim (Oksana) of Spring Branch, Texas. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the Quad City Food Bank.
