He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce McNeely and Carol McNeely (Senseman) of Bettendorf; his grandparents, J. B., Louise McNeely, Hugh and Harriet Senseman; his uncle John McNeely; his aunt Janis Watson; and his cousins, Austin Owens and David Watson.
He is survived by: his wife Karen of Bettendorf; his sons, Gavin of Bettendorf, Kian of Bettendorf and Brennen of Bettendorf; his brothers, Andrew McNeely (Natasha) of McAllen, TX and Josh McNeely (Cheryl) of Bettendorf; and his nieces, Evie and Maddie McNeely of McAllen, TX. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
The family requests that all attending the visitation and funeral service wear a mask.
In lieu of flowers, memorials gifts may be made to a fund for the education of Shawn's sons.
