It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Schary Shouse (Bettendorf, Iowa), born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on November 19, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hubacek and Carol Hubacek (Brush); her husband Gary F. Shouse; her sister Susan; her brother-in-law Tom; and her nephew Pete Miller.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jen Shouse of Des Moines and Becky Carter (Kris) of Chesterton, Indiana; her grandchildren, Lillian, Samuel Carter, Makayla, Cooper and Brayden Genck of Waukee, Iowa; her siblings-in-law, Pamela Kerker (Kevin) of Pennsylvania, Pennie Engler (Rick) of Eldridge, Brenda Drummond (Joe) of Long Grove, Iowa and Carey Shouse (Bob) of Moline, Illinois; and her nieces and nephews, Kate Frye, Valerin Morris, James Gimbel, Rachel Burmeister, Nikki Roth and Ben Engler.
