He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Gill and Marguerite Gill (O'Brien); his son Jeffrey S. Gill; and his siblings, Richard Gill, Gerald Gill, Teddy Gill, Ernest Gill, Robert Gill, Mary Jewell and Peggy Huckeba.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Kay Reep of Bettendorf, IA; his children, Richard Lee Gill of Galva, IA and Michelle Lynn Gill-Cook of Bettendorf, IA; his stepchildren, Tammy Gill (Robert) of Bettendorf, IA, Judy Blackman (Dana) of Sumpter, SC and Lenny James; and his siblings, Sandy Collier of LeClaire, IA, Judy Harris of Davenport, IA, Michael Gill of Henderson, NV and Dennis Gill of Bettendorf, IA.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home (644 River Dr, Bettendorf, IA 52722). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
