He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Anderson and Edna Anderson (Tribbett); his wife Jessie; his siblings, Darlene, Loretta, Donald, Robert and Jerry; and his sons-in-law, Mark Kimball and Jonathan Smith.
He is survived by: his former wife Cathy Olson; his children, Shirley Helmick (Charlie) of East Moline, Lenora Lydic (Lorne) of Silvis, Sherry Rawson (Brian) of Silvis, Cathy Anderson (Kevin Vanderploeg) of East Moline and Ron Anderson Jr. of Silvis; his stepchildren, Bobbi Jo Smith of Colorado Springs, Elizabeth Kimball of Aledo, David Willits of Bettendorf and Mark Willits of Bettendorf; and his siblings, Barbara Mitchell (Jim) of Thibodaux and Neil Anderson of East Moline.
