It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Glenn of Bettendorf, Iowa, who passed away on February 17, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert Glenn to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Glenn and Almeda Glenn; and his sisters, Julia Butters and Kathy Luloff. He is survived by: his wife Judy of Bettendorf; his children, Susan Horvath (Jon) of Romeoville, Julie Wilkinson of Bettendorf and Tom Glenn (Katie) of Bettendorf; his grandchildren, Tyler, Addison Horvath, Dan, Ben Wilkinson, Jack and Olivia Glenn; and his sister Shelia Payne of Independence. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home (644 River Dr, Bettendorf, IA 52722). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Asbury United Methodist Church (1809 Mississippi Blvd, Bettendorf, IA 52722).
Memorials may be directed to the family to be directed to a memorial fund in Bob's name for Bettendorf Middle School student athletes. Any other memorial gifts may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the charity of your choice.
