He was predeceased by: his parents, John Skulte and Ellen Skulte (Hale); his son Steven; and his brother Robert Skulte. He is survived by: his children, Mike Skulte (Roxann) of Davenport and Stacey Nelms (Robb) of Geneseo, Illinois; his grandchildren, Laren Simon (Brad), Logan Skulte, Robyn Nelms and Jake Nelms; and his sister-in-law Linda Erickson (Dan) of Qualicum Beach.
