It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard J. Paplinski of Bettendorf, Iowa, born in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 4, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Paplinski and Alta Paplinski (Elliott); his brother William E. Paplinski; and his nephew Aaron Paplinski. He is survived by: his wife Linda G. Usselton; his daughters, Leslie A. Hesterman (Tim) of Oak Park and Vicki L. Bert (Jeff) of Bettendorf; his grandchildren, Nathan Hesterman (Addison), Caroline Jackson (Tristan), Kate Hesterman, Alex Bert, Eric Bert (Carley Berneking), Olivia Bert and Amanda Bert; his great grandchildren, Teddy Hesterman and Nicholas Berneking; his sister-in-law Cheryl Paplinski; and his niece Ilse Paplinski (David Silvernell).
