Richard D. Gast Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Gast and Alice Gast (Duncan); and his sister Nancy Riss. He is survived by: his wife Joan Marttila; his children, James Meier-Gast and Kristen Marttila; his children-in-law, Becky Meier-Gast and Charlie Marttila; his grandchildren, Cian, Wren, Grace Meier-Gast, Solomon and Eero Marttila; his brother David Gast; and his siblings-in-law, Paul Riss and Mary Ellen Gast. He is also survived by one niece, three nephews, and two grandnieces; and by uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the CityView Room at Trimble Pointe (701 12th St, Moline, IL 61265). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
