He is survived by: his wife Ellen Martin; his son Eric Martin; his grandson Sam Martin; his siblings, Vincent Martin (Jan), Mathew Martin (Karen), Christopher Martin (Lisa Horneck), Amy Kellenberger (Bill), Diana Hester (Bob), Martha Schlue (Ed) and Joseph Martin (Shelly); and his sister-in-law Pamela "Sue" Martin.
Memorials may be made in his honor to World Wildlife Fund or Riverbend Food Bank.
