He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Rice and Mathilda Rice; and his siblings, Donald Rice, Richard Rice, Helen Renslo, Norman Rice and Carol Meyer.

He is survived by: his wife Janice Aspelin; his grandson Matt; his friend Bridge; his children, Michelle Moulton (Richard) of Frisco, TX and David Rice (Wendy Wilson); his grandchildren, Matthew and Carmen Moulton; and his siblings, Jean Wenig and John Rice (Muriel).
